Yes, I believe that it is. In a desolate landscape, such a vibrant sign of life would be most welcomed. Assuming this is a lone flower, this would be the most beautiful, since there is no other to compare it with.
Reply:I saw the actual flower! I was on the interstate on an overpass, and there was a great big sunflower growing out of a crack in the concrete! And we don%26#039;t have that many sunflowers around here. It was indeed beautiful because it was so unexpected. The next day it was on the local news. The day after the newscast it was gone, but I felt privileged to have seen it.





It is indeed rare that something beautiful grows in an adverse environment. It should be nourished and protected.
Reply:The blooming of the desert is always a moving sight. One small rain and the bleak desert blossoms with life. Frogs come out of hibernation and quickly mate in ephemeral ponds, flowers dash up overnight to create new seed for the next generation. Life continues and perseveres.

Reply:I think so. Both in the physical world and in the experience of life. In the most barren places to find even a small hint of beauty, a ray of sunshine like that is a blessing. It gives you the needed boost to perservere through tough circumstances. Its an image of hope, a promise that you can get through this. So yeah, if I found a flower in an adverse environment I would definately find it more beautiful than something grown in a hot house.
Reply:If you like dandelions, sure. Out of pure concrete, there they are. Rare and most beautiful? I would keep that opinion to your self. On the other hand, the word %26#039;adverse%26#039; is ambiguous. In the Latin syllabus, it breaks down to %26#039;ad ver se%26#039; or in English %26#039;it look know%26#039;.

Reply:It is proud and strong and shows it%26#039;s beauty through adversity. It is rarely seen, but it is still there for those who take the time.
